About Yunusobod
Yunusobod is a district of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, in the northern part of the city rather than a standalone municipality. It is one of Tashkent's larger districts and contains a substantial share of newer high-rise development, the Tashkent TV Tower, and the Yunusobod metro line, which connects the district to central Tashkent in under fifteen minutes. The economy mixes residential, retail, and services typical of an outer-central capital district, with proximity to government and business clusters downtown. Uzbek is the official language, with Russian widely spoken in business and daily use. The climate is continental semi-arid with hot dry summers, cold but generally snow-light winters, and very low humidity. Relocation appeal centers on newer apartment stock and direct metro access to central Tashkent jobs.
