These terms apply to SortaRich (sortarich.com) and any other of SortaRich's sites, apps, communities on any platform, and any of its online or offline events or properties. "We", "us", and "our" refer to Atlas & Lila, Inc., the operator of SortaRich.

Non-legally binding TL;DR

• SortaRich's destination rankings are crowdsourced and built from public data sources, so don't rely on them for major life decisions without verifying. We're not liable if you move to a place and it doesn't work out.
• Before relocating to or working in another country, verify visa, tax, and legal requirements with that country's embassy and your own. We surface visa data as a starting point, not as legal advice.
• When entering your email during sign up, we may use it to contact you about your account, payment, and product updates.
• We collect analytics data (IP, location, actions) to make the site better.
• Access to the personalized ranking at /explore is a one-time payment. Because you get immediate access to digital content as soon as you complete your purchase, you waive your statutory withdrawal/refund period (where applicable). Refunds are at our discretion.

Data accuracy. Data on SortaRich is aggregated from public APIs, statistical agencies (World Bank, IMF, Penn World Tables, national statistics offices), commercial price databases, and crowdsourced inputs. By the nature of the data, it is impossible to guarantee complete accuracy. We accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, or inconvenience resulting from using SortaRich. You should verify critical information (visas, healthcare access, safety conditions, tax residency rules, real-estate prices) before you act on it.

Limitation of liability. To the full extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that in no event shall SortaRich be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if SortaRich has been advised of the possibility of such damages) arising out of or in connection with (a) SortaRich or this Agreement or the inability to use SortaRich (however arising, including our negligence), (b) statements or conduct of any third party on SortaRich, (c) your use of or reliance on SortaRich's data including in decisions to travel, relocate, or invest, or (d) any other matter relating to SortaRich. Our liability to you or any third parties in any circumstance is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount of fees, if any, you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the action that may give rise to liability.

Privacy and analytics. We collect data about your browser, IP, and location for analytics purposes. We use your location to personalize purchasing-power comparisons relative to where you live. If you contribute any content or data to the site (favorites, ratings, feedback, profile information), you provide us with a perpetual, royalty-free license to broadcast, display, distribute, and produce derivatives from your contributions, including on other platforms.

Changes. Every effort is made to provide information that is accurate. However, materials contained in SortaRich are subject to change at any time. We give no assurance or warranty that information on this site is current, and take no responsibility for matters arising from changed circumstances or other information that may affect the accuracy or currency of information.

Refund policy. SortaRich provides you immediate access to digital content as soon as you complete your purchase, without waiting the 14-day withdrawal period that may apply in your jurisdiction. Therefore, you expressly waive your right to withdraw from this purchase. We may at our sole discretion offer refunds within seven (7) days of purchase if you have not substantially used the paid features.

EU customers. If you are an EU customer, you agree that SortaRich provides you immediate access to your service as soon as you complete your purchase, without waiting the 14-day withdrawal period. Therefore, you expressly waive your right to withdraw from this purchase.

Account suspension. We reserve the right to permanently ban any user from our websites for behavior that goes against these Terms. We will be the sole judge of guidelines violations and we do not offer appeals or refunds in those cases.

User-generated content. SortaRich may contain user-submitted corrections, ratings, or commentary that is subjective and may not be accurate. We are not liable for any damages that result from using this data.

Not professional advice. Information on SortaRich should not be considered legal, financial, immigration, tax, or medical advice and is not intended to replace consultation with a qualified professional. We do not answer specific legal, financial, immigration, tax, or medical questions.

SortaRich is provided "as is", "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, those of TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, or NON-INFRINGEMENT, or any warranty arising from a course of dealing, usage, or trade practice. No advice or written information provided shall create a warranty.

Lawful use. Visitors agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and are prohibited from posting any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene material of any kind, including any material that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

Modifications. We may modify these terms from time to time. When we do, we will provide notice by publishing the most current version and revising the date at the top of this page. If we make any material change, we will provide additional notice (e.g. by email or a prominent notice on the site). By continuing to use SortaRich after any changes come into effect, you agree to the revised terms.

Third-party content. We are distributors (not publishers) of content supplied by third parties (data providers, statistical agencies, user contributors). We have no more editorial control over this content than a public library. Any opinions, advice, statements, or other information made available by third parties are those of the respective author(s) and we are not responsible for them.

Third-party links. The Site may contain links to other sites on the internet ("Linked Sites"). SortaRich is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, decency, or copyright compliance of material on any Linked Site or services or information provided via any Linked Site.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify SortaRich (its employees and agents) for any loss suffered or liability incurred by SortaRich (its employees and agents) arising from any unlawful, unauthorised or improper access or use of the Website or any breach of these terms by you or your employees, contractors, or representatives.

Availability. SortaRich does not guarantee constant availability of site access and accepts no liability for downtime or access failure due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including any failure by upstream data providers, ISPs, or system providers).

Security of transmission. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. While we strive to protect such information, we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of information that you transmit to us. Any information you transmit to us is transmitted at your own risk.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full credit-card details on our servers; Stripe'sprivacy policy applies to payment information you provide to them.

Governing law. These terms and conditions will be construed according to and are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, regardless of where SortaRich operates or you use SortaRich from.
