International schools
International schools ranked by exam results
129 schools publish exam results on their own websites. Exams differ (IB points, A level grades, AP scores), so each result is compared with the other schools that report the same exam, and a school's score is the average of those comparisons.

How the ranking works
Every result comes from the school's own website. We read its results pages and keep a result only when the page states it: each one links to its page, and the line it came from shows when you hover over “source”.
A result counts as the share of the other schools reporting the same exam that it beats, a tie counting half: an IB average of 36 beats more schools than one of 32. For the Abitur, where 1.0 is the best grade, the lower grade wins. A school's score is the average of its results, from 0 to 100.
Only each school's latest result from the last 3 years counts, and only on exams at least 5 schools report; fewer is too few to compare.
Schools that don't publish their results online aren't ranked. Schools choose what they publish, and results reflect whom a school admits as much as how it teaches, so read a rank as one signal among several.
