About Bāli, West Bengal
Bāli is a town in Pali district in the southwestern part of Rajasthan, India, on the eastern flank of the Aravalli Range between Udaipur and Jodhpur. The city of around 297,000 functions as an agricultural and trading center on the Marwar plateau, with textile dyeing and printing, marble and granite trade tied to the nearby Rajsamand quarries, and a long tradition of out-migration to Mumbai and the Gulf in commerce and hospitality. Hindi and Marwari are the working languages. Bāli is on the Jodhpur and Marwar rail and road corridor, putting both Jodhpur and Udaipur within about two and a half hours. Climate is hot arid. The town suits relocators with family or trade ties to Rajasthan's Marwari networks.
