About Al Majaz

Al Majaz is a waterfront district of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, sitting on the Khalid Lagoon at the southern edge of the city centre, immediately adjacent to Dubai's eastern border. It is one of Sharjah's most visible districts thanks to the Al Majaz Waterfront promenade, the dancing fountain, and the Al Noor Mosque, and it concentrates the emirate's mid-range residential towers and family-oriented dining. Housing costs sit at roughly half of comparable Dubai locations, but Sharjah's alcohol-free legal regime and weekday traffic on the Sheikh Zayed and Al Ittihad roads into Dubai shape relocation decisions. Arabic and English are both working languages, with English dominant in commerce. The desert climate brings extreme summer heat above 40C and mild, pleasant winters around 22C.
