Why the expat-access rating looks like this
Resident families can generally enroll, and newcomer support exists in some places, but the long-term public path still depends on Dutch.

About Tilburg
Tilburg is the sixth-largest city in the Netherlands, sitting in North Brabant province roughly 100 kilometers south of Amsterdam and 30 kilometers east of Rotterdam. Historically a textile manufacturing center, Tilburg transitioned through deindustrialization toward logistics, with major distribution centers serving the wider European market, alongside Tilburg University, recognized particularly for economics and law. Dutch is the working language with very high English proficiency, especially in the university and corporate sectors. The climate is temperate maritime with mild damp winters and cool summers. Direct intercity trains connect Tilburg to Eindhoven in 20 minutes and Rotterdam in 45, with Eindhoven Airport the nearest international hub. For relocators, Tilburg offers substantially lower housing costs than the Randstad while remaining within the Dutch rail network and within commuting reach of major employers.
