About Dixinn
Dixinn is an urban commune of Conakry, the capital of Guinea, occupying part of the central Kaloum peninsula along the Atlantic coast. It hosts a substantial share of the country's diplomatic missions, the University of Conakry's Gamal Abdel Nasser campus, the Donka national hospital and a number of national-administration offices, which makes it one of Conakry's principal political, educational and healthcare zones. The local economy is dominated by public administration, services and small commerce rather than industry. For foreign relocators, Dixinn and neighboring Kaloum are where most of Conakry's small expatriate community of diplomats, NGO staff, mining-sector workers and international-school families is concentrated. French is the working language, with Susu and other Mande languages widely spoken. Climate is tropical monsoon with very heavy June–October rains.
