About Centennial, CO
Centennial is a city in the United States, sitting in Arapahoe County of Colorado in the south-central Denver metropolitan area about 20 kilometers from downtown Denver. The roughly 112,000 residents live in a city that was only incorporated in 2001 (one of the largest US municipal incorporations in recent decades), assembled from unincorporated suburban areas around the Denver Tech Center and Centennial Airport. The local economy is anchored by the Denver Tech Center business district immediately west, which hosts substantial telecommunications, finance, and aerospace employment, alongside the Centennial Airport which is one of the busiest general-aviation airports in the United States. The RTD light rail and bus network connects to downtown Denver.
