Why this quality rating
Turkey's public schools can work for local families, but expat fit is weaker and the public path is not usually the obvious choice when alternatives exist.
Why the expat-access rating looks like this
Resident enrollment is possible, but Turkish-medium instruction and uneven school quality make the public route hard for most foreign families.
🚫 Homeschooling
Homeschooling not legalTurkey requires compulsory school attendance. Homeschooling is not permitted under current law. Foreign residents are technically subject to the same rules, though enforcement varies for non-citizens.

About Denizli
Denizli is a provincial capital in the western Aegean region of Turkey, about 250 kilometers east of Izmir at the inland edge of the Aegean basin. The local economy is built on textile manufacturing as Denizli is one of Turkey's largest home-textile and towel exporters, alongside travertine quarrying, and travel logistics tied to the UNESCO-listed Pamukkale terraces 20 kilometers north. Turkish is universal with English limited largely to tourism. The climate is Mediterranean-continental transitional, with hot dry summers and cool winters. Pamukkale University adds a substantial student population. Foreign residents are relatively few outside the tourism sector, though Turkey offers accessible residency pathways. Cardak Airport provides domestic connections, and rail links connect Denizli to Izmir and the Aegean coast.
