About Latkrabang
Latkrabang is a district in eastern Bangkok, Thailand, dominated by Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the country's main international gateway, and the surrounding logistics, freight forwarding, and aviation-services cluster. It hosts the King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, one of Thailand's leading engineering universities, and a number of large industrial estates serving the Eastern Economic Corridor. Residential growth has accelerated with the Airport Rail Link and Yellow Line monorail, which connect the district to central Bangkok in roughly 30 to 45 minutes. The climate is tropical with hot, humid weather year-round and a monsoon season from May through October. Thai is the working language, with English common in airport and corporate environments.
