Healthcare

System strength, outcome signals, facility coverage, and self-pay visibility in United States.

About Valencia, CA

Valencia is a master-planned community in northern Los Angeles County, California, in the United States, located about fifty kilometers north of downtown Los Angeles in the Santa Clarita Valley along Interstate 5. Its population of around 148,500 is part of the larger city of Santa Clarita, with the community itself developed from the 1960s by the Newhall Land and Farming Company around a defined street grid, paseos, and a town center. The local economy is anchored by Six Flags Magic Mountain, healthcare, biotech and aerospace firms in the surrounding Santa Clarita business parks, and a meaningful commuter workforce into Los Angeles. English and Spanish are both widely used. The Mediterranean climate brings hot dry summers and mild winters. For relocators, Valencia offers cheaper suburban Los Angeles housing with car-dependent layout.
